  • The sunset over Lago Villarrica in Pucon Chile provided a great backdrop to enjoy some pisco sours.1/2/10 JAN8046
  • At 12,293 feet Vulcan Lanin straddles the Chilean and Argentine Border. This was taken on the Chilean side as we drove from Pucon to Junin de Los Andes, and San Martin de los Andes in Argentina. This southern area of Chile has numerous volcanoes, hot springs and very large lakes. 1/3/10 JAN8052
  • Heading up into the Andes on our way to Argentina from Pucon Chile we stopped to enjoy this view. 1/3/10 JAN8062
  • On a road between San Martin de Los Andes and Villa La Angostura Argentina this waterfall caught my eye. 1/4/10 JAN8139
  • This is the same waterfall but different flowers for the foreground as the previous one. These wonderful flowers in the foreground were everywhere we went in Argentina. 1/4/10 JAN8142
  • The paved road from San Martin de Los Andes and Angostura Argentina changed to a rough dirt road bouncing us for some 30 miles. This river scene appeared.. The water in these rivers and lakes is pristine. 1/4/10 JAN8143

  • Shortly after we crossed over the Andes back into Chile from Villa La Angostura Argentina, another waterfall appeared. 1/5/10 JAN8176.
